FANTASY FOOTBALL BEAST OR BUST (WEEK 2) JORDAN MASON

FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE BEAST OR BUST (WEEK 2)

JORDAN MASON

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

1.5 hours until kickoff. After spending my morning and afternoon, and early evening getting all of my DFS lineups set for Monday Night. I get a notification on my phone, CMC is OUT.

Instantly I go into no huddle offense and reset all of my lineups as Jordan Mason is too good to leave out. As well as switching out the #1 overall pick in Fantasy Football CMC. Mason goes off for 150+ Total Yards and a TD.

Already owned in 67% of CBS leagues, is Jordan Mason the real deal and going to keep this going?

If you had preseason BEAST, you would have noticed that I had Jordan Mason ranked way ahead of his ECR. While Mason is a BEAST at RB, the truth is he is nothing more than an RB 5 when CMC is healthy. How injured CMC is we cannot be sure anymore. What we can be sure of is Kyle Shanahan is a lying POS who ruined a lot of people’s fantasy teams who drafted CMC, but did not grab his handcuff in Jordan Mason.

It is a long season and Jordan Mason should mix in the games more often than not, especially since the 49ers goal is to keep CMC healthy for the playoffs. With that being said, if you do not own CMC and you do not have anyone to really drop, you can let another team make a claim on Mason. The teams that have CMC but do not have Mason are the teams that really need to panic and make sure they grab Jordan Mason ASAP.

End of the day, Mason will likely be back on the Waiver Wire during the season, but for now he makes a speculative good short-term play, and then a very conservative long-term hold. AKA when he starts he is an RB1. When CMC is healthy he is riding every bench across every Fantasy Football league, and will play worse than most RBs on the Waiver Wire.

With all that being said.
