If you have been following the BEAST DOME content over the years, you can see I was on the Brock Purdy is overrated train from day one. There is a search bar on the right type in his name or any name you want to see.

This year has been a disaster for Brock Purdy. DISASTER. He has gone from “Next Tom Brady” (and we all know who that is. If you do not, type that in the search bar) to “Next Jay Fiedler.”

The 49ers are unraveling with injuries to key players, but there are still many pro bowl players and Future Hall of Famers still healthy, leaving no excuses for the former NFC Champions to be out of the playoff picture. This week the 9ers (funny how you don’t even need the 4 before it to know who I am talking about.) play the Bears in what is probably the biggest game in the career trajectory of Brock Purdy.

IF Brock fails to win this game at home and reminds us all that the Bears Defense was supposed to be very good this year. Do the 49ers officially move on to Plan B at QB for the future? Brock has shown he crumbles against good defenses, and sometimes makes throws that makes you think he is seeing ghosts. Almost as if Space Jam aliens took whatever powers he had left, are now gone.

This is a huge game for Brock and his career. We will see if he shows up, he still has a BEAST core of players to throw the ball to so the only excuse now, is no excuse at all.
