The 49ers had it, in their palms. The Super Bowl. Before Kyle Shanahan once again blew a huge 4th quarter lead. The Falcons never bounced back, will the 49ers?

OFFENSE

The 49ers beefed up their O-Line getting Trent Williams and Compton into town. The Running game is more stacked than ever with McKinnon expected to return to take some plays away from Raheem the Dream and Tevin Coleman. While Raheem looked better than Coleman last season, Tevin is Kyle’s boy from Atlanta and Tevin really did not do anything to deserve reduced playing time. Only reason McKinnon will stay relevant is because the 49ers gave him so much money.

The 49ers did lose Emmanuel Sanders, but drafting Aiyuk in the 1st Round was money. This guy has good size for his blistering speed. Imagine Darrius Heyward Bey with muscle and that is what the 49ers drafted. Pairing him with Samuel gives Jimmy G. two amazing playmakers. When you add George Kittle to the mix, this offense is going to be scoring a lot of TDs. 49ers offense will be solid. Do not forget about Dante Pettis who still lurks on the roster as a potential WR 3/2 in this offense.

DEFENSE

Robert Saleh is a great Defensive Coordinator. He will always have his team playing their heart out.

The pass rush of Bosa/Armstead/Dee Ford is not even fair.

Linebacker core is a bit weak with Fred Warner as the only respectable weapon. Relying on a 7th round journeyman and a 5th round rookie is not great for that core.

The Secondary is led by Richard Sherman who is still feeling burned by Sammy Watkins. The rest of the secondary, horrible. Jaq Tartt is a nice hitter, besides that it is players who would be sitting on the bench for most squads.

The 49ers secondary and LB core is weak, the only thing to do is not run the ball against this team. Just go through the air and tear them up like Mahomes did in the 4th quarter of last season.

BEAST

GEORGE KITTLE

Could potentially end up on Draft Guide, lots of weapons for the 49ers this season, and also the fact that this team will be winning a lot of games and running a lot in the 2nd half of those games does hurt his overall value. Likely not on the Draft Guide but still a very strong season.
