*NOTE THESE ARE ALL SPECULATIONS BASED ON WHAT FRANCHISES HAVE DONE IN THE PAST.
TRENT RICHARDSON – RB – CLE
The Browns are a 3-8 football team. While they seemed to play much better than their record dicates right now, the reality is this team is not making the playoffs this season. Trent Richardson is the face of the franchise, but do they really want to throw him out there in a meaningless game against two of the hardest hitting run defenses in Denver and Pittsburgh? On the Road!
WEEK 14 – VS. KC
WEEK 15 – VS. WAS
WEEK 16 – @ DEN
WEEK 17 – @ PIT
Continue to hope the Browns do not hold back Trent Richardson who is definitely a 1st Round pick in Fantasy Football next season. LaDainaian Tomlinson played every game as a rookie. Adrian Peterson played sparingly for his last two games of the season with Brad Childress as his head coach. Who is now the OC for the Browns. Still, just hope for the best.
MAURICE JONES-DREW – RB – JAX
At 2-9, the Jaguars season is all but lost at this point. The Jags are going to need MJD to be a good RB for them in 2013, and pushing him to the limit in 2012 does not make that much sense. Especially with the Jaguars currently auditioning Chad Henne this last month of the season to see if he is the QB of 2013.
While MJD definitely has the potential to put up 1st round value in the Fantasy Playoffs, there is also a chance he sits out a game or two to close out the season as Jacksonville prepares for 2013 with everyone healthy.
WEEK 14 – VS. NYJ
WEEK 15 – @ MIA
WEEK 16 – VS. NE
WEEK 17 – @ TEN
Continue to stash MJD and use him when he is a starter, for now he is one of the ELITE bench RB in Fantasy Football today who should return much sooner than later.
DARREN MCFADDEN – RB – OAK
The man that cannot stay healthy Run DMC came into this season as a guaranteed top 5 RB if he can stay healthy. This was far from the truth as even when he was healthy, 100 Yards/1 TD in a game would make his owners jump in excitement instead of acting like it was just another Sunday.
WEEK 14 – VS. DEN
WEEK 15 – VS. KC
WEEK 16 – @ CAR
WEEK 17 – @ SD
Now we are at Week 13 and DMC is likely to be a non-factor in Fantasy Leagues again. On top of that, backup RB Marcel Reece who is making his 4th start this Sunday will pass Darren McFadden for Fantasy Points on the season. The Raiders want DMC healthy in 2013 to start this process all over again. Which means, he is a definite candidate to sit out games for the 3-8 Raiders during the Fantasy Playoffs.
LESEAN MCCOY – RB – PHI
That’s why the call him Slim Shady. While we want think he’s coming back. Chances are with the Eagles at 3-8, his season could be shutdown/or limited. Bryce Brown was a star on MNF against a Panthers defenses that decided not to play running lanes. Which means Shady should be running free again in 2013.
WEEK 14 – @ TB
WEEK 15 – VS. CIN
WEEK 16 – VS. WAS
WEEK 17 – @ NYG
There is definitely more than a chance that McCoy does return. Without Vick though, Shady is not nearly the Top 5 pick he was supposed to be. The Nick Foles project is not an explosive one, leaving owners to hope for those 100 Total Yards, instead of guaranteed. First he has to play and the concussion is healing a bit slower than it does for other players.
JAMAAL CHARLES – RB – KC
1-10 and the Chiefs still have Brady Quinn as the likely QB to finish out the season. The Chiefs remaining schedule after this week has some promise for Charles, but not enough to the point where a TD is guaranteed in any of these games. As a RB you want a QB who can move the chains, Quinn is far from that QB making Jamaal Charles a HR or nothing type of RB.
WEEK 14 – @ CLE
WEEK 15 – @ OAK
WEEK 16 – VS. IND
WEEK 17 – @ DEN
With the Chiefs season in doubt, and Charles coming off heavy ACL surgery. Do not be surprised to see Jamaal take a game or two off from the end of the season to go into 2013 with a full steam ahead.

I am in a predicament.
I am in a PPR league, and I have been offered Arian Foster for Jamaal Charles. Charles has great matchups for weeks 14-16, and I’m scared that Houston’s record will allow them to rest Foster like they did today. Any suggestions? Thanks.
