MADDEN CURSE ALREADY? (CMC)

The Fantasy Football season has not started, and the most valuable player already has an injury. If you watched the intro video I did a draft with a client, we had the #1 pick, and of course we took CMC. I said in the video, only reason not to take him #1 is the Madden Curse, and the curse may have struck already.

The injury is a calf, obviously something that is very important for a RB. Early signs are CMC will definitely miss the entire preseason, and is questionable for Week 1. Not a great start, and not something you want to read about your #1 pick. However, CMC would have missed the entire preseason even if he was healthy.

With all of that being said, it is still too early to shy away from taking CMC #1. He is the most dominant player in Fantasy Football, and likely is heading towards another Fantasy MVP campaign unless an injury stops him. The NFL does not kick off for another month, so that is enough time for CMC to get healthy, but it is a bit of a concern.

For now continue to draft him #1, with the Draft Guide you will get a full strategy so you will be able to be a strong team no matter if CMC ends up missing regular season games as well.
