Since the beginning of time, I have not been on the J.K. Dobbins train.

Dobbins missed all of 2021 with an ACL injury, so in 2022 it was only fitting that I added him to my Draft BUST Guide, as well as giving him his own featured article, while all the sheep were hyping him up.

So far in J.K. Dobbins’ young career, he has not rushed for over 1,000 yards. Although he has a nice Yards Per Carry in his career at 5.9, that stat is hyper-inflated by a few big runs here and there. More often than not, it seems like Dobbins is getting hit and going down right around the line of scrimmage.

To add fuel to the fire, the last season 4th Round Pick in Fantasy Drafts is now asking for more money, and the Ravens are not likely to give him what he wants because of the ACL injury that knocked him out in 2021. Gus Edwards is an effective RB, and the Ravens just gave Melvin Gordon $3 Million.

This makes you think, there is no chance for the fragile J.K. Dobbins to be a serious threat this season. Especially with the fact that there is still no timetable for his return. Yet all summer, I have seen Sheep draft Dobbins anywhere from the 4th round, to now slipping to the 6th Round. That is still way too high as you are leaving a lot of valuable players on the table at all positions with that pick. If you had the BEAST DOME Draft Guide in June/July and now even August, you would see there was never any J.K. Dobbins love.
