FANTASY FOOTBALL LET TIM BOYLE VOL. II
By Muntradamus
BEAST DOME NATION.
I woke up Wednesday morning knowing that today was the day we would find out if Tim Boyle was starting on Sunday. Unfortunately, it was not the news we wanted to read.
For the first time in Tim Boyle’s career. The cult following is starting to catch on X.
FantasyPros even gave me a spot to write my sleeper of the week, so of course I had to give Tim Boyle love anytime I can. Article was due Tuesday, I wrote it for Tim Boyle anyways.
What are the Giants doing not starting Boyle?
Malik Nabers was the #1 Player in the NFL according to some rating system which I am sure just tells you how dominant a player was.
Drew Lock is horrible. He was unwatchable on Thanksgiving giving us the worst most boring Football game of all-time on a Thanksgiving day, punt after punt after punts. Followed it up with a clunker at home against the Saints. Started the game 0/8 in the 1st Quarter! Threw an INT late in the game. Got the ball back because Carr was out and Saints had no QB. Lock had a long scramble and they missed a FG at the end. No passing TD in two games!
Devito looked awful against Tampa, did not score a TD. Then missed a lot of throws against the Ravens. Three horrible penalties against the Ravens setup a Giants TD while he played, besides that he is very injury prone.
We will see what will happen with Tim Boyle. If Giants put him on the Practice Squad, as Daboll has already said Devito will be #2 when he returns, I expect a contender like the Seahawks to add him as a backup, or maybe even the Titans bring him on to be their QB next year. However once again, no point in expecting anything. If I were to tell you before the season started that Tim Boyle would become the most popular Giants QB, you would think I was insane.
“It looked like he knew the offense just as a first-string quarterback,” Nabers said. “For him to toss the ball around, give us chances on footballs, try to do the best of his ability to get another win, I think he played a great game.”
TIM BOYLE POST GAME
“I prepared all week knowing that there was a chance for me to go play in this game, and I had to go play well. The moment when it came, there was no heart pounding, there was no dry mouth, I just kind of went out there and played ball and got in the huddle. It was really good to play football again. It’s been kind of a weird year for me. I’ve been on three teams over the past, I don’t know, five, six months. So just getting back in the huddle and playing ball, throwing a touchdown pass, it was all very nice for it to come full circle.”
