There is no doubt that Jayden Daniels is playing well and making it look easy. I felt after his breakout performance against the Bengals on MNF earlier this season, it was time to sell high on the rookie and get a good player you could trust. The last three games Jayden has been playing like prime Lamar Jackson, and last week he did it against the Browns. Now the hype train is starting to say MVP? I am going to calm down those talks instantly.

This week Jayden is going to have to do something he has not done yet this season. He has to play a strong defense, on the road. While Jayden looked good against the Browns last week, he was really doing nothing in the 1st half besides one long throw to McLaurin where he used his legs to buy time (all fairness that is what separates him) with less than 100 yards passing and the first half almost over, Denzel Ward got injured, did not return, and Jayden Daniels then made it look easy capped off with a bomb TD before the half and some nice scrambles mixed in rest of the game.

Remember when Josh Allen looked like Skylar Thompson a few weeks ago on Sunday Night Football against the Ravens? That is the Ravens defense I expect to showup against Jayden Daniels and the Commanders. I would be surprised if the Commanders score more than 20 Points on Sunday, leaving Daniels with a likely QB2 Performance.
