FANTASY FOOTBALL BUST MR. MALIKS’ NABERHOOD
FANTASY FOOTBALL BUST
MR. MALIKS’ NABERHOOD
By Muntradamus
BEAST DOME NATION.
It’s a horrible day in the Naberhood, a horrible day in the Naberhood. Have you seen the Giants Hard Knocks episodes? It seems the Giants hired Andy Bernard (Ed Helms in the Office) to run this Football team and the whole thing is a disaster comedy. From letting Saquon Barkley walk away for nothing, from asking his kids who he should draft, it is really hard to watch how boneheaded the Giants organization is.
Was I saving my best move for last, ya I am. This is not my best move, but this is a move you should all be aware of. Ever year from the history of time, Sheep rank Rookies incorrectly. From Clyde Edwards Helaire to Bijan Robinson, Sheep get way too excited over a Rookie. It is the same sheep that hyped those guys are also hyping up Malik Nabers, what could go wrong?
I was hoping I would get to see Daniel Jones and Malik play a little together before making this official, but with that not being the case because of a minor ankle injury (ready by Week 1), I will show you this hand. If any “Expert” tells you to draft Malik Nabers, or anybody in your league drafts Malik Nabers in the early rounds of your draft, you are dealing with. ‘Grade A’ Sheep.
Let me explain. Daniel Jones is not the most reliable QB in the world. From Danny Dimes to Danny Bolivar (Money in Venezuela, worth nothing) Daniel Jones has become a QB where any success, is a great success. More often than not, we just do not want a disaster at this point when he is on the field. Daniel has not really found a groove since his rookie season when he had 24 TDs. Every year after, Daniel has failed to throw for 20 TDs (15 is his max), as well as never reaching 3,300 Yards. Sure there have been injuries, but Daniel has played 47 Games since his rookie season, and only has 38 TDs in that time. If I am doing my math correct, that is less than 1 TD a game.
Let us say Daniel gets that 1+ TD a game this season. Who is to say it will definitely go to Nabers? The Giants are stacked with average talent at WR from Darius Slayton who has been secretly leading the way, to Jalin Hyatt, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Isaiah Hodgins. While Malik Nabers may be better than all of them, he does not justify receiving a Randy Ratio of passes (Google Randy Ratio if you never heard of it). Yet alone the Giants offense will probably not be on the field long enough for any WR to really get superstar numbers.
Daniel Jones is a QB who you rather have nothing to do with when it comes to Fantasy Football, and Reality Football. So why are these Sheep racing from the hilltops to scream that Malik Nabers is a star?
MALIK NABERS 2024 RANK
SHEEP RANK #24 WR
MUNTRADAMUS RANK #48 WR
Do not fall into the Rookie Hype. I see Nabers going in the first 3-5 Rounds of every Fantasy Football draft, and every time I see that I think to myself.
It’s a beautiful day that I’m not in the Naberhood. A beautiful day not in the Naberhood.
