D’Ernest will be one of the top Waiver Wire RBs after an explosive performance with 95 Rushing Yards on 13 carries. Only a couple of problems with that result. Before I go any further props on his journey from AFL to NFL RB, this is just purely based on his potential for your Fantasy Roster.

1. Kareem Hunt is definitely the main RB with Chubb injured. If that game was not on blowout status, Johnson would not see nearly that many carries.
2. The Browns could run it down the Cowboys throat whenever they wanted to. Other teams, that will not be the case, and the Browns will also not be in control of a game like they were on Sunday, very often.

Add in the fact that Chubb will be back in about two months and you have yourself a solid RB4 who will sit on your bench more than he will play. Not someone you can really trust, but on a nice game solid RB3 numbers will be the results when he has a good game, 50+ Rushing yards you should be thrilled. Kudos to him and the Browns offense for finally coming to life, but this is Kareem Hunt’s team, he is the captain now. Johnson will spell the star when he needs breaks, might take a series or two away, that is it.
