Hit Me Montee One More Time
(Montee Ball)
By Muntradamus
BEAST DOME NATION.
My loneliness is killing me. Montee. I must confess, I still believe. Just score a TD.
When he’s in my starting lineup I lose my mind. Just gri-i-i-nd. Hit me Montee one more time.
I’m opening up for Brittney Spears at Planet Hollywood next week with that breakout single.
The time is now BEAST DOME NATION. The time is now to give Montee Ball his last chance to Crawl for His Ball.
He is going to sign with the Atlanta Falcons who need a RB more than Marshawn Lynch needs Skittles on the sideline.
Devonta Freeman already has a bad hamstring, that is going to linger all season. He is garbage when healthy anyways basically a poor man’s JacQuizz Rodgers.
Tevin Coleman looked good against 3rd Stringers last week in a Preseason game, did nothing when actual defenders were on the field. He is coming off of Foot Surgery and the Falcons are not comfortable handing him the keys to that backfield.
Last season I ranked Stephen Jackson as a Top 10 RB, while that did not work out due to workload, the potential for a HUGE season was there as all Falcons RBs combined for over 2,000 Total Yards and 16 TDs between all 3 RBs.
MONTEE BALL: MUST OWN
Montee Ball will finally not have the pressure of living up to all the Broncos greats and play alongside a Living Legend in Peyton Manning. Now Montee goes to the Wild and Out Atlanta Falcons who play in a Dome and are going through the prime of the Matt Ryan/Julio Jones age. The Falcons also brought in Kyle Shanahan who is the son of the great Mike Shanahan who produced 1,000+ Yard RBs at Denver year after year with his blocking scheme. Kyle runs the exact same offense his dad ran with Denver and it has showed everywhere he goes. Whether it is Alfred Morris getting another 1,200 Yards on the ground, or Isiah Crowell and Terrance West combining for 1,280 Yards rushing.
The Falcons offense is so explosive with the passing game, defenses want the Falcons to run the ball. Teams will dare Montee Ball to run the ball on 1st/2nd/3rd Down. Montee has a great chance to be the future of the Falcons RB core and at the very least he will be the power and short yardage back. While Montee has been less than average at the position with the Broncos, there are times where he does show he is a true BEAST. He also set the college record for Rushing Touchdowns in a season which shows he knows how to Score Touchdowns, but most important of all.
Montee doesn’t have any money coming. If Montee does not put up big numbers with the Falcons, he will never get a Mega contract in the NFL, yet alone another contract. This is the last chance that Montee Ball will ever have to be a starting Running Back in the NFL, if in the NFL at all. Now is the time to add him in all Fantasy Football Leagues before it becomes official that Montee ends up as the starting RB for the Atlanta Falcons. With no more CJ Anderson and Ronnie Hillman in his pathway, Montee finally has the chance to be the 1,000 Yard Rusher with 10+ Touchdowns.
