2012 BEAST DOME Draft Cheat Sheet 2.0
By Muntradamus
BEAST DOME NATION.
For your draft, you should print out this sheet and mark it as you go along your draft. If you choose not to print this page, you will let players slip right through your draft that will make you feel as dumb as Homer Simpson.
*Rankings last updated 8/22, next update 8/27. To see up-to-rankings and analysis go to the BEAST DOME FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE.
Last Helpful Hints before your draft:
*Pair your Kicker with QB.
*Grab the Best Player.
*Do not worry about Bye Weeks. Always grab the best player.
*There are a lot of TEs.
*Do not wait too late for a QB.
*Pair your Kicker with QB.
*Grab JacQuizz Rodgers/Willis McGahee no matter what. Both go too late for how good they will be.
*Remember to grab combo players on the I.E. QB & TE/WR from same team. If the picks make sense.
*Grab Tom Brady if you want a QB with 50 TD Passes.
*Pair your Kicker with QB.
*Do not wait past Tier 3 to get your QB. I would go Tier 2 latest.

Hey Muntz,
Thanks for all the awesome draft prep. You helped me win the regular season championship last year (thanks for the Kahlil Bell tip), plus I cashed in on a separate post season league. I drafted #5 tonight and missed out on Tom Brady (who went #4) but I made sure I hogged the RB’s. Now I just need to drop someone to grab a kicker before Week 1 (I think Matt Bryant went un-drafted). Who would be on your chopping block from my ten man (standard scoring) team? We start QB,WR,WR,WR,RB,RB,WR/RB,TE,K,DEF. Thanks in advance!

Hey Ben,
Meant to get back earlier, was dealing with the perfect storm getting the website back together.
RBs are Elite.
Ryan could be a top 4 QB if all goes perfect, I like him this season.
WRs are all solid across the board, no superstars, all top 20, good depth.
Backup RBs are ELITE.
Olsen in the 14th round was a steal.
This team is ready for another championship run.
Hey Muntra, I drafted 5th overall in a 10 team league and ended up with this roster. It’s also a PPR league. Also, can only have up to 3 QB, 5 RB, 5 WR, 2 TE, 2 D/ST, 2 K.
QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Chris Johnson
RB/WR: Matt Forte
RB/WR: Darren McFadden
WR: Julio Jones
TE: Brandon Pettigrew
Flex: Darren Sproles
Flex: Percy Harvin
D/ST: Ravens D/ST
K: Rob Bironas
Bench: Roy Helu, trying to trade
Bench: Torrey Smith
Bench: Anquan Boldin
Bench: Giants D/ST
Bench: Justin Blackmon
Bench: Jacob Tamme, may drop for Rudolph
Bench: Tim Tebow, hope he’s starting by week 7
Bench: Dan Carpenter
Noteable free agents: Mike Goodson, Brandon LeFell, Davone Bess, Brian Quick, Kendall Wright, Mike Williams (TB), Jacquizz Rodgers, Kyle Rudolph, Ryan Williams, Alshon Jeffery, Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder
How does my team look? Championship material, or does it need some improving?
Hello Muntradamus,
I have really been out of the fantasy scene a little lately with Fantasy Baseball, but ironically still am in the top ranks. Quite honestly, Baseball is not my sport of choice, but here is my team at the moment (The Dallas Final Encounter): http://games.espn.go.com/flb/boxscorefull?leagueId=23396&teamId=3&scoringPeriodId=152&seasonId=2012&view=scoringperiod&version=full
Any advice on my team before playoffs will be awesome; I will be focusing so much more on Fantasy Football, my favorite of the bunch, but will look back at the Baseball league from time to time. Furthermore, I will be competing in two different fantasy football leagues, one draft was yesterday which I followed this article on which yielded a pretty great draft: http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/boxscorequick?leagueId=680297&teamId=10&scoringPeriodId=1&seasonId=2012&view=scoringperiod&version=quick
Also, I will be in one more draft this wednesday at 11 Eastern time or 10 PM central time (my time). I have been reading your VIP article and might be interested in this perk, or do you think I could just make lengthy posts like I usually always do throughout the season for free? Thanks M for all your helpful advice, and I plan on definitely being more active throughout this Fantasy Football Season! You Rock M!
Kind Regards,
Scream
P.S. My account is having some issues logging me in? Says my file could be public or something like that, and doesnt allow me to fully log in? Strange… Thanks M again for everything, so much appreciative!
Chase
This is a Championship caliber squad on the surface. Your depth could use some tweaking.
Roy Helu is nothing more than waiver wire material, I would add JacQuizz Rodgers in a minute knowing that he is going to take over for Michael Turner sooner than later.
Dan Carpenter is not worth holding onto your squad right now. The Dolphins are really bad and it is not likely he will be kicking many FGs this season. I would drop him for Brandon LaFell who could turn into a legitimate starting option.
Your starting lineup is beyond stacked.
Garrett give me props where props are due.
The fact you still have a 1st place team in your division despite never checking it. Melky Cabrera and Brett Lawrie in your lineup all this time..And you have a vacant starting roster space in your OF..
Finish out the baseball season strong, playoffs start in a week you might as well win the championship.
Here are the following moves to make:
DROP: Santana
DROP: Nova
DROP: Morales
DROP: Cook
DROP: Doubront
DROP: Melky Cabrera
DROP: Alex Avila
DROP: Brett Lawrie
ADD: Rajai Davis
ADD: Salvdor Perez
ADD: Mauer Gomez
Move: Mauer to 1B. Trumbo to OF. Rajai to OF. Perez to Catcher. Gomez to 1B/3B. Sandoval to 3B.
ADD: James McDonald
ADD: Mike Fiers
ADD: Scott Diamond
ADD: Justin Masterson
ADD: Sergio Romo
Good luck and follow the Daily Pitcher Rankings which now has hitter rankings too.
ELITE team all around for your football draft.
I can’t give you the perk for free here, or else nobody will want it. Plus wouldn’t you want to send me private e-mails so you we can go back and forth?!
Win that championship in Baseball!
Good to see you back in the Dome.
Thanks for the feedback! I’ve got to drop someone and add a kicker…thinking at this point I’m going to drop Sydney Rice and add Matt Bryant.
Love the new site layout. Haven’t gotten a database error yet!!!
