ROUND 1
JAHMYR GIBBS (2023 Rookie Profile)
I have seen Gibbs go in late late 1st Round, but even any point in the 2nd round is too early. For me, I would not even take him in the 3rd or 4th Round, maybe in the 6th. I am convinced everyone has short-term memory loss. Do we not remember that this guy was a dud in more than 50% of his games. Every sheep in the industry was saying to draft him in the 2nd/3rd round last year and they are bragging about it this year. First 4 games of the season, Gibbs averaged less than 5 points a game, then got injured and missed a couple more. Fantasy owners definitely started out their season with a losing record, potentially 0-6.
Take away the three game stretch where Gibbs did put up RB1 numbers when Montgomery was injured, Gibbs played like a RB3 similar to Jaylen Warren, not a Top 5 RB overall. Gibbs is being drafted too early. Sheep walking right into the same trap. Fool me once, Shame on you. Fool me twice, Shame on whoever drafts Gibbs early again. Gibbs will be closer top Top 20 RB than a Top 5 RB.
ROUND 2
MARVIN HARRISON JR./DE’VON ACHANE
Read all about the Achane BUST season coming ahead in 4chane.
Kyler Murray has a lot of mouthes to feed. Michael Wilson looks to be the truth as far as talent goes, not fantasy upside. *NOTE ZAY NOW SUSPENDED* Zay Jones TDs put Food on Families, he is very talented and can beat single coverage often. ‘Father of the McBride’ is Todd Heap on Steroids and has become an easy favorite target for Kyler. James Conner is the life and blood of this Football team, he does well and the Cardinals have a chance. Then in comes the super child with Marvin Harrison genes. You guessed it, Marvin Harrison Jr.
All coached by Michael Scott. Wish I got to see Marvin Harrison this preseason work with Kyler, but not all wishes comes true. Going into the season I will safely say he finishes closer to a WR3 than a superstar WR. I could see early in the season Kyler spreads it out, gets everyone involved. When the Cardinals are officially eliminated, Marvin Harrison Jr. will get a lot of targets. Regardless, your season will not make it that far wasting a valuable 2nd Round Pick.
ROUND 3
NICO COLLINS/DJ MOORE
The BEAST DOME cover athlete of 2023, Nico Collins was a huge part of the Draft Guide and a huge reason a lot of clients have returned for another season. Nico is a superstar there is no doubt about it, but there is a new diva in town named Stefon Diggs, and Diggs has already made his presence felt if he is not getting the ball already this preseason. Read more about my preseason take on Nico Collins here. He will still have a nice season, but he goes too early. I just wanted to put him on this list similar to how I ranked Josh Jacobs a BEAST in 2022 and then a BUST in 2023. I also ranked Jacobs a BUST in 2021.
Read more on DJ Moore in Round 6 with Keenan Allen.
ROUND 4
MALIK NABERS/STEFON DIGGS
HORRIBLE DAY IN THE NABER HOOD Read full article by clicking his name.
You can read above about why Diggs will be a BUST by reading about Nico, you can read below why Diggs will be a BUST reading about Dell. With that being said he will be much happier outside of Buffalo. Stefon Diggs hurt a lot of BEAST DOME MVP clients in 2023 because we were all gas lit into the Bills saying they would have Diggs more involved. The result, he was a decoy. Texans will not make him a decoy, but his numbers will not reach the breakout games like he had with the Bills, there will just be more solid games all-around. With that being said, the upside is not high enough for where he is being drafted.
ROUND 5
TANK DELL/ANTHONY RICHARDSON
Read full article on either player clicking their name.
ROUND 6
KEENAN ALLEN
The article that is linked above is really for DJ Moore who also goes way too early, but that carries over to Keenan Allen as well. The hype on Caleb Williams is a bit high, he did look horrible last preseason game besides one throw against 3rd stringers right before the 2 minute warning. It was a play that Justin Fields has definitely made against starters often, rolling out, rolling back, throwing deep downfield.
Caleb is fine and there is a chance he becomes a Pro Bowl caliber QB, maybe even more, but in Year 1 we will see only the raw version of that at best. Which means the entire offense can take a hit, including Keenan Allen who will not have his BFF Justin Herbert looking his way every play.
It is hard to say that Caleb and Rome are NOT developing chemistry very quickly, and that could lead to a huge problem within the entire locker room. DJ Moore needs his targets, Keenan Allen needs his targets, Rome seems to be the favorite to get the targets, but that simply cannot be the case. Not enough targets to feed all those mouthes, and you cannot forget Kmet The Frog.
ROUND 7
ROME ODUNZE
Go ahead and read up one. The only NFL WR to have his own hot dog, yet alone not even have a catch is a BUST where he is being drafted. Taking Rome as a WR 2/3 is leading you to a season of a lot of WR 4/5 performances more consistently than not. Rome cannot be the go-to WR for the Bears unless they want a lot of anger in that locker room as DJ and Allen do not get their touches.
ROUND 8
JAYDEN REED
Did you know I was high on him when nobody even thought of him? Go ahead and read my Rookie report on Jayden. Jordan Love has too many WRs to spread the love. Literally. Reed is a gadget player while the other guys like Watson/Doubs/Wicks are real big body WRs who would play on nearly every team. Consistency from Reed is not going to happen, he is equivalent to a 3rd down RB in the Packers offense, not a WR to beat teams downfield. The other guys may get their production here and there, but the consistency
ROUND 9
LADD MCCONKEY
Read about Ladd here.
ROUND 10
BLAKE CORUM
Why in the world is Blake Corum being drafted so high? What has Kyren Williams shown that makes you think Blake Corum even deserves to sniff the grass on sidelines. Kyren Williams could be ready for an easy Pro Bowl season, the only thing that could stop him is if McVay for some reason has a man crush on Corum. In all reality, Corum should not touch the field unless Kyren Williams is completely gassed after dominating the defense and needs a breather.
For sheep to take Corum at all, especially without having Kyren to be the handcuff, then those people are Sheep.
ROUND 11+
JUSTIN HERBERT
He was the original and first BUST article of the preseason. You can read the article by clicking his name. Since then his ADP has lowered.
