DAILY BEAST: JAZZ RETURNS TO NEW ORLEANS

BEAST DOME NATION.
Football season is coming closer to an end than we want, and I do not want to leave BEAST DOME in the dust until Football Season resumes with the occasional article here and there and the Fantasy Baseball Draft Guide. So with that, I will bring you a couple thoughts of Fantasy Basketball nearly Daily or my pick of the day.
Today I got your pick of the day.
UTAH JAZZ – 3
The Jazz head to New Orleans, which is ironic because the Jazz used to play in New Orleans. The reunion matchup has nobody present from that era besides people in the crowd. Usually this could be a nice game that can go back and forth, but the Pelicans are missing a key player. No not Zion Williamson, but Jrue Holiday. Without Jrue in the backcourt, the Pelicans are literally the Lakers leftovers + Derrick Favors. Favors is an ex-Jazz, but he will go up against his former big man partner in Rudy Gobert who towers over Favors in size.
Without Jrue, Lonzo will have to try to stop Donovan Mitchell, something he probably will not be great at. After that the Jazz are stacked with shooters who are ready to drain open shots, and they have Jordan Clarkson, another Ex-Laker who will go up against his former teammates in Lonzo/Hart/Ingram. The Jazz have the better shooters, and they have the big man in Gobert to secure the paint.
Though the Pelicans will not backdown. Lonzo has to shoot lights out to keep the Pelicans close, and Brandon Ingram will have to put on a monster performance though he will see a lot of attention. Pelicans are going to run run run and hope JJ Redick can remain hot and Josh Hart can knock down the open shots.
Even if the Pelicans knock down everything, that will just be enough to keep this game close. Jazz really should have no problem scoring buckets all night long, however they want.
