Never played fantasy basketball, but after your advice from fantasy football I’m looking forward to trying it out!
Not sure if you’ll see this Munt, but I have a question. Are your rankings, etc. just for standard roto? The league I’m considering joining is head to head roto, and I’m not sure if there are any downsides compared to standard. I’ve never played fantasy bball (though I am a fantasy football vet), and I would only join if I would be able to use your advice as a crutch.
Can’t express how glad I am for finding the Beast Dome. Cheers.
ATLA
My Rankings are for the most valuable Roto players who will fill up the stat sheets and not hurt you in the most categories. Or if they do, they make up for it so much in other categories.
You will have fun with the Basketball Beast Dome Community who is patiently waiting for my content. We still have 24 Days till opening day, plenty of content on the way.
Thanks for the response, looking forward to being on board.
I’m joining a 3-player Keeper League with basically no keepers. Other teams are dropping players who I’ll gladly pick up.
Basically, I’ll end up with 4 of the first 6 picks of the following players:
Al Jefferson, Nowitzki, Iguodala, Stoudemire, Bosh, Ibaka, Milsap, Dragic, Greg Monroe, Bargnani, Jennings … there are more. I am planning to take Al Jeff, Novitzki Amare and Iguodala as my top 4. If i have Al Jeff and Amare, do I need Bosh? I will try for Bargnani in the 6th but then I’m sol for guards. Should I try to squeeze Dragic in instead of Dirk or someone else? Any thoughts on strategy? I draft tonight at 6pm PST.
