Each time your pitcher racks up a strikeout, a little piece inside of you racks up some happiness.  In order to keep that happiness, the pitcher has to actually pitch a good game.

5 K/3 INN looks great in the box score.  Throw in 4 ER to that number, and you wish you never started that pitcher, among other actions he/she may go through.  This pitcher is Erik Bedard.

Now, imagine if that 5 K/3 INN came with 0 ER.  Before you know it the final line falls to 9 K/6 INN and his team is going to get the Win. This pitcher my friend’s is Stephen Strasburg.
