The type of choke job my Best Ball Fantasy Baseball team is trying to pull on me is coming at a historic decline. Luckily for me though, the team I was praying would get healthier as the Playoffs approach. They start next week. I would get a bit healthier in the Starting Pitching Department, and my wish is coming true.

RETURN OF E-ROD

Eduardo Rodriguez was great for the Tigers last season, easily a prime Clayton Kershaw on just a horrible team. I was very excited for his upcoming season with the D-Backs, but injuries have put his season off all the way until finally today, August 6th. With him back, Justin Verlander expected back in another week, I could finally be looking towards full strength.

If you are in a Fantasy Baseball league, I highly recommend you add Eduardo Rodriguez. There is still two months left of the Baseball season, and E-Rod can make a huge impact. In fact, I am such a big E-Rod fan I am sure if you type his name in the search bar you will get plenty of results.

My current lead is 50 points, when my team escapes this week, I am home Free in the Playoffs and have two weeks for my team to show what it can do. You can view the full team here.

Ohtani is definitely good enough to pace me, but unlike Fantasy Football, you need a full team to win not just one player. I need my pitchers to come to life, and that starts with Eduardo Rodriguez returning to form.
