BEAST DOME NATION.

Sadly, the team we were following was eliminated. Despite all the amazing hitting and pitching performances, the team ahead of me in the Standings was even hotter, Dylan Cease threw a no hitter! It happens, that is why it is never a good idea to get too invested in any team with your emotions. Either that or I am just immune to everything. I am sure younger version of me would be moody. With that being said, there is one last team to bring BEAST DOME to the Glory of winning the $100K.

I only did 1 entry for the BEST BALL. It was actually my last draft as I forgot to draft BEST BALL teams on DraftKings.

This team has been in second place all season. Pretty strong gap between me and 3rd Place, the playoffs start on August 11th where the 1st/2nd Place teams advance. Which is good for this team because I have a lot of injuries right now. Verlander/Bichette/Yelich/E-Rod can all get healthy before that.

I wrote a preseason article on Shane Bieber how he was going to have a great year, and he threw two amazing games before tearing his arm. Few familiar faces between this team and the previous team BEAST DOME, but the other team was obviously better. Lots of  A quality outfielders will make this team hard to handle for others, and a lot of veteran pitchers who can get it done. Wish I took Skenes instead of Dunning but because of all the injuries my pitchers were going through preseason, I needed a pitcher who could pitch right away and then be replaced by Scherzer.

Baseball is a game of streaks. If my guys get hot during the playoffs, as Kevin Garnett once said, “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!” Which I hope to follow up with a Jayson Tatum, “WE DID IT!”
