Fantasy Baseball is different than any sport in many ways.
In Football you know Josh Allen or Saquon Barkley are going to have their big games and their big seasons, and only a few QBs or RBs will be similar, but you will have to draft them in a similar position.
In Basketball you know Luka is going to perform like an absolute MVP, and the other players that perform similarly are players drafted in the same range.
In Baseball, you can have an undrafted players perform like absolute an absolute GOAT, while stars sit and do nothing. Jon Berti who was on nobody’s draft board, but thanks to an injury to Nico Hoerner now has everyone saying, how much for that Berti in the window. 2 SBs in two games, and this guy can run! Back when he was with the Marlins a few years ago, he stole 40+ bases in 101 games! It would be a surprise to see the Cubs bench Berti, because they are such a horrible team, there are going to be open slots for the speedy utility guy to get in the lineup. If you are in a Roto League, I would stash Berti as he can make a difference in SBs by himself alone, likely stealing more bases than 1st Round Pick Mookie Betts.
