  • Prince Fielder (1-2, HR). Ready to dominate.

  • Alex Avila (1-1, HR, 2 RBI).  Great start to prove last season was no fluke.

  • Brandon League (1 INN, 1 Hit). Closer job is all his in Seattle.

——————————————————————————————————-

  • C.C. Sabathia (2 INN, 3 Hits, 1 ER, K).  Can easily win 20 games any season.
  • Andrew McCutchen (2-3, RBI).  Nice 20/20 candidate, batting order makes a huge difference in his value.
  • Gio Gonzales (3 INN, 1 Hit, BB, 2 Ks).  Should have breakout season.
  • Jayson Werth (HR).  Werth was a disappointment last season, but in this deep lineup if he bats 3rd he could have a very nice bounce back season.
  • Craig Kimbrel (INN, BB, K).  Elite of the elite closers.  Jonny Venters (1 INN, 1 Hit, ER).  Good thing he got this bad game out of the way.
  • Cliff Lee (2 INN, 2 Hits, BB, K).  Should have a great season in store.
  • Rickey Romero (2 INN, H).  With a bullpen Romero can now easily win 17+ games.
  • Brett Lawrie (2-3).  I’m starting to develop a fantasy crush on him if he can show some more speed and power.
  • Austin Jackson (2-3, RBI).  Would have liked to see a SB added to that.
  • Emilio Bonifacio (1-2, SB).  If he plays every day he could steal 40 Bases easily.
  • Brett Myers (1 INN, 2 Hits, ER, BB, K).  If he performs like this that closer job will be gone quickly.
  • Wandy Rodriguez (3 INN, H, K).  Will look to rebound after a bad season.  Great start.
  • Chris Snyder (HR).  With 2 HR’s already it looks he will leap frog Jason Castro sooner than later.
  • Matt Capps (1 INN, 2 Hits).  Glenn Perkins (1 INN, 2 Ks).  Perkins will get that closer job at some point.
  • Jeff Neimann (2 INN, 2 Hits, R).  Not a special pitcher, but he can get a cheap win here and there.
  • Scott Baker (2 INN, BB).  Solid starter with little run support.
  • Johan Santana (2 INN, BB, H).  Good start, hopefully he lasts all spring with no problems.
  • Jake Westbrook (2 INN, H, 2 BB, 2 Ks).  Nothing special, very similar to Jeff Neimann.
  • Daniel Bard (2 INN, BB, 2 Ks).  Should be a very huge sleeper pitching with all that run support.
  • Billy Butler (2-2).  Solid hitter who is having a nice start to the spring.
  • Vinnie Pestano (1 INN, 2 BB, K).  Pestano could be the closer to start the season for the Tribe if he has a strong Spring.
  • Melky Cabrera (2 HR).  It will be tough to do this in SF.  Good to show the power potential is there.
  • Andre Either (HR).  He may have hit 1 of his 20 left in the tank.
  • Barry Zito (2 INN, 4 Hits, 2 ER, BB, 2 Ks).  Zito is not a trustworthy pitcher to have for an entire season.
  • Ted Lilly (2 INN, 6 Hits, 5 ER, 2 Ks).  Awful start.
  • Matt Garza (2 INN, 3 Hits, 2 Ks).  Garza will have nice value wherever he falls.  Wins will be hard to come by, but good K rate will not.
  • Alfonso Soriano (3-3, 2 HR, 3 RBIs).  He is not done yet.
  • Joakim Soria (1 INN, 2 Hits, ER, K).  Needs a strong Spring.
  • Jemile Weeks (2-4, SB).  Strong start for the Weeks in Oakland.
  • Yovanni Gollardo (2 INN, H, 4 Ks).  Gollardo should be a fantasy beast this season.  No Prince Fielder means less run support.
  • Matt Latos (2 INN, 2 Hits, BB).  Latos is due for a bounceback season after the Padres paced him a season ago.  Dusty Baker is not afraid to throw guys for multiple Innings.
  • John Danks (2 INN, 4 Hits, 3 ER, 3 BB, K).  Danks needs to have a bounce back start.
  • Matt Thornton (1 INN, H, K).  Closer job is his for now.
  • Matt Harrison (2 INN, H, W).  Harrison will have some competition for his spot, when he is on the mound the Rangers can win any game for him.

———————————————————————————————————-

  • Jimmy Rollins (2 SBs).  If he can stay healthy he will be a huge X-Factor at the SS position and your fantasy team.
  • Michael Pineda (2INN, 2 Ks).  On the Yankees he can be a fantasy beast with all the run support he will receive.
  • Justin Verlander (2 INN, 1 K).  Good start for last season’s MVP and CY Young winner.
  • Jair Jurrjens (2 INN, 3 Hits, 2 ER, 1 BB).  He was great last year, rough start.
  • Dan Uggla (2-3, HR, RBI).  Good to see him get off to a good start.  Very streaky hitter.
  • Alex Gordon (1-2, HR, RBI).  Batted leadoff, we will see how long this lasts.  That will hurt his RBI chances throughout the season.
  • Adrian Beltre (3-3, 3 RBI).  Huge fantasy contributor last season, monster game.
  • Derrick Holland (2 INN, 3 Hits, 1 ER).  Was great last season, hopefully this was a fluke.
  • Bruce Chen (1 2/3 INN, 7 Hits, 4 ER).  Texas is a tough team to pitch to.
  • Dustin Ackley (3-3).  Think Mark Loretta in his prime type of production.
  • Carlos Quentin (2-2).  San Diego will need him to be big this season.
  • Chris Naverson (2 INN, 0 ER, 0 Ks).  Last years “sleeper” will be watched closely this spring.
  • Matt Cain (2 INN, 1 K, 1 BB).  Excellent pitcher on a team that will give him little run support all season.
  • Alex Presley (3-3, 2 RBI, 2 Runs).  A player to watch this spring.
  • Kevin Gregg (1 INN, 2 Hits, 2 ER, 3 Ks).  Jim Johnson has more breathing room.

———————————————————————————————————————————

  • Garrett Jones (HR). Pedro Alvarez (HR).  Important for them to have good bats heading into the season.
  • Jose Tabata (SB).  Good category sleeper.
  • Mark Reynolds (SB).  Maybe he can get back his 30 SB form.
  • Bud Norris (3 INN, 1 BB). Great pitcher with little run support.  Worth a late pick.
  • Jonathan Papelbon (1 INN, 1 Hit, 1 BB, 2 Ks).  Still a shut out spring.
  • Jordan Zimmerman (3 INN, 3 Hits, 1 BB, 3 Ks).  Nice sleeper with up and coming Nationals.

  • Miguel Cabrera (HR).  Potential #1 overall pick in all leagues.
  • Jose Valverde (1 INN).  Solid spring continues.
  • James Shields (2 INN, 2 Ks, W).  Huge last season.
  • Hiroki Kuroda (2 INN, 3 Hits, 3 ERs, 2 Ks).  Rough start.
  • Russell Martin (SB).  2nd of the Spring, great SB numbers from catcher position.
  • Brandon Morrow (2 INN, 1 Hit, 1 K).  Great K pitcher.
  • Francisco Cordero (1 INN, 2 Hits, 2 Runs, 1 K) vs. Serigo Santos (1 INN, BB).  Closer job is very safe for Santos for now.
  • Jonathan Niese (2 INN, 1 BB, 2 K, W).  Nice sleeper if he has good spring.
  • Alex S. Gonzales (2-3, 4 RBI).  Good sleeper for a backup SS.
  • John Axford (1 INN, BB, K).  Good rebound to keep closer job safe.
  • Jake Peavy (2 INN, 4 Hits, 3 ER, 3 Ks).  Solid for K’s might have rough season.
  • Bryan LaHair (2-3, RBI, SB).  Holding off Anthony Rizzo for now.
  • Eric Hosmer (1-2, RBI, SB).  Great value pick with huge potential.
  • Jonathan Sanchez (1 INN, 4 Hits, 3 ER, 1 K).  Value is going down.
  • Tim Lincecum (2 INN, 7 Hits, 5 ER, BB).  Terrible start I would ignore.
  • Carlos Gonzales (2-3, 2 RBI).  Great value if you get him outside of top 5.
  • Yu Darvish (2 INN, 2 Hits, 3 Ks).  Great start, it was against SD.
  • Huston Street (1 INN, 2 Hits, 2 Runs, BB).  Bad start, should be fine.
  • Aaron Harang (2 INN, 4 Hits, 2 ER).  Bad Dodger debut.
  • Kenley Jensen (1 INN, 1 K). vs. Javy Guerra (1 INN, 2 BB, K).  Job is Guerra’s for now.
  • Jered Weaver (2 INN, 3 Hits, 2 K).  Good start for possibly top pitcher.
  • Jordan Walden (1 INN, 1 Hit, 1 K).  Potential top closer.
  • Corey Luebke (2 INN, 1 Hit, 1 BB, 4 Ks).  Could be solid in leagues he qualifies at RP/SP.
  • Shin Choo (1-3 HR, RBI).  20/20 guy if he stays healthy.

———————————————————————————————————————–

  • Hanley Ramirez (2-3, HR, 2 RBI).  If he does not go in the 1st round he was a steal.
  • Carlos Zambrano (1 1/3 INN, 3 Hits, 3 ER, 3 BB, 4 K).  Yikes seems like he will be inconsistent this season.
  • Frank Francisco (1 INN,1 Hit, ER, 1 K, BB, L).  What do you know another blown save.  He should lose the job in no time.
  • Jason Hammel (2 INN, 2 Hits, BB, K).  Good start for the Orioles.
  • Mike Minor (3 INN, 3 Hits, 2 BB).  Could be a good sleeper.
  • Delmon Young (1-3, HR, 3 RBI).  Really like him this year batting behind Prince Fielder.
  • Doug Fister (3 INN, H).  I am going to target him on draft day with this offense.
  • David Price (2 INN, 3 Hits, BB, K).  Could have been worse.
  • Jeremy Hellickson (2 INN, 4 Hits, 3 ER, 2 Ks).  Benefit of the doubt coming out of the pen.
  • Miguel Cabrera (3-4, RBI, SB).  Let’s see if those SB’s keep racking up during the Spring.
  • Josh Beckett (3 INN, 2 Hits).  He will definitely be undervalued.
  • Jaime Garcia (2 INN,4 Ks).  Those K’s would be a huge bonus if he can keep it up.
  • Edwin Jackson (4 INN, 2 Hits, 3 Ks).  Really like those National pitchers.
  • Ryan Zimmerman (2-3, HR, 2 RBI). His bat is alive.
  • Dernard Spann (1-2, 2 SB).  Nice SB and run threat with Mauer batting behind him.
  • Francisco Liriano (3 INN, 1 Hit, 5 Ks).  Hot Spring makes him money  going into the season.
  • J.P. Arencibia (1-2, HR, 2 RBI).  My Boy this year, I am going to target him in all leagues.
  • Ivan Nova (2 2/3 INN, 6 Hits, 5 ER).  Could lose his rotation spot.
  • Dan Haren (2 INN, BB, 3 Ks, W).  Haren is an elite talent.
  • Ubaldo Jimenez (2 INN, 2 Hits, 2 ER, 2 BB).  Terrible Spring so far.
  • Carlos Marmol (2/3 INN, 4 Hits, 4 ER, HR, 2 K, L).  Uh Oh.

  • Joey Devine (2/3 INN, H, 4 ER, 3 BB).  Closer job is up for grabs again in Oakland.

  • Madison Bumgarner (3 INN, 2 H, BB, 5 Ks).  Madison is a man on a mission this Spring.
  • Edinson Volquez (2 INN, 2 H, ER, K).  Interesting late flier in case he gets hot.

  • Mike Leake (2 INN, 3 Hits, ER, K).  Competing for rotation spot, starts like this will work.
  • Adam Dunn (2-3, HR, 4 RBI).  Do not count this big guy out yet.

  • Max Ramirez (HR).  His 3rd of the Spring for the Royals, they are going to have problems finding him time.
