Pete Alonso took MLB by storm last season hitting an MLB leading 53 HRs as a Rookie! This season, he is hitting .208 and quickly looking more like Chris Davis than Freddie Freeman. Pete is struggling and he is a HUGE reason the Mets trail even the Marlins in the NL East.

While Alonso has been struggling as of late, 3 for 32 = .094 batting average. All that will turn around with an easy matchup against John Means. Usually, when your ERA is 8.89, that MEANS you are being sent down to the minors. In this case with Baltimore having zero pitching to begin with, they are letting it all ride. Somehow Means made the All-Star game last season, mostly because the Orioles needed at least one representative.

Look for the slow lefty curveball pitcher to throw some hanging fruit for Pete Alonso to CRUSH. While he has been struggling. This is the making of a BEAST performance. Throw everything out the window, it is a new idea on Pete Alonso’s system. Make sure to capitalize on the play.
