From one Yankees catcher BEAST DOME Legend in Austin Wells, to another Ex-Yankees catcher BEAST DOME Legend in Gary Sanchez. The Yankees seemed to have the greatest hitting catcher of our generation. Then injuries slowed him down, and horrible defense came as the side effect when he returned. There is no doubt Gary Sanchez could still hit bombs, but his defense is way below average to be nice.

Gary left the Yankees, and played for four different teams and still put up very nice double digit HR seasons with very limited at-bats. With the 32 Year Old nearing the end of his career, the ghost of Chris Davis and the Orioles picked up the slugging backup catcher.

While you may think, Adley Rutschman is going to dominate why even think about Gary Sanchez? The reason is because the Orioles have no right handed hitters on their bench. Sure Ramon Laureno used to hit a baseball once upon a time, but besides him, the Orioles are stacked with lefty bats, no power righty bats. Which means one thing.

Gary Sanchez has the chance to have a lot of At-Bats.

The nice thing about dominican baseball players, they have nothing besides baseball. It is all they know, and it is all they do growing up. They want to be the best, and by the large amount that are making their ways into the MLB, they are performing the best. It is their chance for wealth, and someone like Gary Sanchez who is 32 Years Old, knows it is now or nothing time for his career. He is getting a golden opportunity to revitalize his career, and at the end of your draft, you can draft the once upon a time BEAST DOME Legend in the late late last round probably will not even be drafted pick.
