AUSTIN WELLS AL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR VOL. VI

AUSTIN WELLS AL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

VOL. VI

BEAST DOME NATION.

Another Austin Wells article can only mean one thing, yes he hit another HR. The goal is to get this to Vol. X. If this series gets to VOL. X, he is no doubt a lock for Rookie Of The Year in the AL, even though he has done enough to win it.

Last time this series was posted over a Week ago, we have seen Jose Trevino catch two games, and all two games the Yankees have lost. Finally, Austin Wells is getting everyday at-bats. He is not only getting everyday at-bats, he is simply winning games for them.

Over this weekend against the Cubs, after the Yankees lost two straight games with Trevino catching in Texas. Wells hit 2 RBIs and caught a complete game shutout in a 3-0 win. Followed that up by catching another shutout, as well as throwing out Nico Hoerner and PCA (26-26 in SBs before Wells threw him out) in a very tight ball game, also added an RBI groundout.

Monday with the game tied at 4 in the 7th INN, Austin Wells smashed a 3 run HR and gave the Yankees the win. Since all of this, Austin Wells has decreased the Odds from +650 in VOL. V, to now -110 in some sportsbooks.

Colton Cowser since the last article (VOL. V) has not hit a HR, and is hitting less than .200. The Orioles are losing games, and Cowser is not making any impact at all. Sure Cowser’s counting stats of HR/RBI for the season are more than Wells, but he also has nearly 150+ more Plate appearances. Not to also forget that Austin Wells would likely be #2 Gold Glove catcher in the AL behind Cal Raleigh.

Since Aaron Judge made an appearance on Paw Patrol on August 26th. Judge has 0 HR, Soto has 1 HR, Austin Wells has 4 HRs. With the Yankees surging in the AL with the top record, and Austin Wells playing the team MVP. It is nearly impossible for Austin Wells not to win AL ROY.

As the Famous saying goes, you cannot spell Austin Wells without R.O.Y.
