The prophecy came true, unfortunately. Jayden Daniels is no longer the Fantasy QB you all wanted him to be after the Rib injury against Carolina. I have been preaching since the start of the season, he runs like a Looney Toons Character, and it caught up with him.
If you notice his rushing attempts are way down, and most important, his rushing TDs seem to be a thing of the past after his rib injury against Carolina. No longer is it worth it for Jayden to take unnecessary hits at the goal line. The Commanders have scored 7 TDs in their last three games, Daniels has watched Ekeler and McNichols take four of them from the goal line.
While I do respect Jayden Daniels arm, always have. The running like a wild man has caught up to him, a lot earlier than his fantasy owners would like. While Daniels arm is nice, the talent he has at WR besides McLaurin is not amazing. Daniels needs a superstar WR to be added to this group for him to be a strong fantasy QB, which means the rest of his 2024 will start a downward spiral as the weather gets colder for the Rookie QB.
