It was not too long ago in the Fantasy Basketball world that Karl Anthony Towns was considered a 1st Round Pick. KAT would average over 25 Points/12 Rebounds knock down 3s, get some steals and blocks. KAT was the total package when it came to Fantasy Centers. Everything was going good for KAT until injuries and Rudy Gobert came into his life, and KAT lost a lot of value quick. Even in a down year last year, KAT averaged 21/8.

The most shocking trade of the Summer had to be right before the season started when the Knicks gave up Donte DiVincenzo and Julius Randle to land the superstar KAT. Jalen Brunson gave up $100 Million to have his Nova Knicks together, all for it to be broken up for KAT.

KAT goes to New York where he will not have to compete for Rebounds with another big man. KAT will be the starting Center, and he will be the go-to guy on offense. While Jalen Brunson put up a monster year, that wear and tear he put himself through in 2023-24 definitely aged him at least three seasons. Brunson will take it easy during the regular season and let KAT dominate games whenever he can.

The Knicks are also a team built to play defense with Hart and Mikal Bridges, which will result in a lot of rebound opportunities for KAT to clean the glass. We will see many 20/20 performances from KAT with all the 3’s you can handle, and every other stat category in between.

Draft Bodega Purrr comfortably in the 2nd Round of all your Fantasy Basketball Drafts and ignore the ADP of 27. KAT will play like a 1st Round Pick this season, make sure you draft him.
