SNOOP D.O. DOUBLE BUST (TIM BOYLE)

SNOOP D.O. DOUBLE BUST (TIM BOYLE)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Last week I predicted Skylar in Seattle. Skylar broke his rib in the 3rd quarter and Boyle subbed in doing a fine job, nothing out of the record books, but he did make two amazing throws that a lot of QBs in the NFL could not make. One of them was a dropped TD pass by Smythe. Surprisingly I did not make this video below. However it is great scout tape for Boyle for you all to see where he is at.

With a potential showdown against the Titans on Monday Night Football, you could say I was very excited and had high hopes for a Tim Boyle start. Even Tyreek Hill said he only caught passes from Tim Boyle this week in practice. Which is a good lesson in life, if someone has multiple baby mamas and multiple arrests, you probably should not trust a word they are saying.

Saturday morning I woke up to ‘Snoop’ Tyler Huntley being named starter.

“Snoop has started multiple and many big games. As a quarterback, understanding exactly what is required to win over teammates to take the place of someone else and assert their own personality and skillset and traits within the offense and lead people,” McDaniel said.

The coaching staff and his players were probably impressed with the fact Tyler Huntley made the Pro Bowl in 2022 filling in for Lamar Jackson. You could not escape the media clammering to that fact alone that Huntley should have started over Tim Boyle. Well let us look at this 2022 Pro Bowl Season for Tyler Huntley.

RAVENS RECORD WHEN SNOOP STARTED (2-2)

6 Games Total

658 Pass Yards. 2 TD. 3 INT. 137 Rush Yards.

Let us be real. That Ravens system was so good in 2022, if the Ravens had Jameis Winston instead of Tyler Huntley replacing Lamar Jackson, they may have won the Super Bowl. In fact, Huntley was so good that when his contract expired in 2023, they did not re-sign him. In fact, nobody did.

Huntley was the 4th string QB for the Browns this preseason. Since you cannot keep 4 QBs, the Browns released him as Dorian Thompson Robinson looks to have way too much upside to release. Huntley could have been claimed by any team, Ravens signed him to their practice squad.

After one week of the NFL season, any team could have claimed Snoop. Nobody did.

If Snoop is/was a great NFL QB, some team would have picked him up. He even made it to the Pro Bowl look at those amazing numbers above for his pro bowl season!

The Dolphins are making a horrible move going with Snoop over Boyle. You have Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on your roster, maybe the best WR core in the NFL. You have a system which produced the NFL passing yards leader in Tua last year, and was the leader after Week 1 of this season, and now you go with Snoop? A QB who relies on his legs, not his arm at all, and those legs are not what they used to be now at the age of 26.

While I would love to see Boyle start, and have great numbers, and dominate the NFL to start his Kurt Warner story. The Titans Defense is not as bad as they seem. La’Jarius Sneed will be on Tyreek Hill, shut him down besides one catch in the playoff game against the Dolphins last year when he was on the Chiefs. If there is one corner who is too aggressive for Tyreek, Sneed is that guy.

Titans also have a very fast, and very hard hitting LB core. Those 26 year old rushing QB legs that really were never Lamar Jackson to begin with, will not be able to escape. The running game could go nowhere against Jeffery Simmons. It will be on Snoop being able to read a defense, find the open weapons, and make good throws, while not force feeding bad throws to the covered Tyreek Hill. Something Tim Boyle is perfect at, just look at that film above.
