BEAST DOME NATION.

So the journey begins with no Football season, no Basketball season. Just a man and his robot that he built that predicts baseball scores. I have been working on this robot for a week now and I really am obsessed with it, maybe the coolest thing I have ever built. I put in the lineups for both teams and tell the robot exactly what I want it to focus on when making predictions with a lot of variables you are not even thinking of. Then like a machine, it predicts what every player is going to do in that game.

Yesterday it gave me only games with a 1 run lead, which is not confident enough for me in Baseball. Today it gave me two games to win by 3 runs. One of the games I am more confident than the other, so to not shake the confidence of my machine as we start this journey, I will only pick that one game.

Here are just a few things my Machine does when breaking down a game. The parameters cannot be duplicated on how the scoring works, so do not try to figure them out.

I personally like this game and agree with the machine myself. Yankees usually do damage against left handed pitchers that are not superstars, Povich is far from a superstar. Most important of all, Gerrit Cole returns for his first start of the season at home, and he looked amazing in his two tune-up minor league games, totaling 19Ks including 10Ks in 4 INN last in AAA. Gerrit is ready to be the ace of this squad, the entire ballpark will be amped for his debut. Povich the rookie should be rattled pretty easily.
