Another successful day of the BEAST HEDGE, if you tailed the sports book plays you almost won larger than large, percentage-wise. The 1st 5 INN parlay hit, despite 2/5 tying. Eventually winning, but the Rangers ruined the 5 team parlay as the other four were successful. At least they covered the -5.5 team total by Corey Seager hitting a clutch HR in the 9th.

As you can see, I turned this Hedge into a success not by going all in, but by a slow and steady approach with the chance of high upside. I encourage many of you to take on that same approach when you go into placing investments. Being humble is key, being grateful is more important. You do not want to turn into Ja Morant when you are having success. At the end of the day, it does not matter how many you get right, and how many you get wrong. What does matter, is how you perform when you go big.

With that being said, it is important to only go big when the opportunity presents itself. Tonight we see a good play to do it.

PIRATES @ D-BACKS

Pirates just had an exhausting series where they showed they can compete with the Dodgers, but failed to win the series. Now they get on a plane and do a quick trip to Phoenix to play a D-Backs team that did not perform well against the Mets. Good thing for the D-Backs is Zac Gallen is on the mound. There are few pitchers that are more dominant than him, and these Pirates hitters are in trouble. Sure they got a few guys who can rip some hits, but Gallen will shutdown these bats as his pitches sometimes disappear out of thin air.

Rich Hill still amazingly pitching, not pitching amazing. Seems like he has been pitching since I was born, and the numbers are starting to fade. Corbin Carroll is out, but that allows Kyle Lewis a dream matchup as he sits at the start of a D-Backs lineup that can hit him hard all over. Good luck getting past Walker + Lourdes without giving up at least one really hard hit ball each time through.

With all that being said, this is still not an all-in game, simply because Zac Gallen has given up a HR in SIX straight starts, including TWO bombs last game. His ERA sits at 5.54 in his last two starts, and the Pirates murdered him in May (3.5 INN/8 Runs). While Gallen has been struggling, I expect the D-Backs offense to come through and get to Hill early and set the momentum for Gallen to cruise through the Pirates lineup, this time in Arizona.

D-Backs secure the win by scoring runs early. Gallen just has to do his job like he is capable of doing and we glide to the victory. I also love the Blue Jays offense to hit Alex “Frodo” Faedo who is not a good pitcher, and the Blue Jays have big-time MLB hitters that will take advantage of the Rookie’s mistakes. From controlling the counts, to hitting the fastballs over the plate. One bat to smash them all. Frodo has not had a good MLB start his entire career, why would Vegas say it is going to happen against one of the best offenses in baseball?
