MOORE WAYS TO BUST YOUR DRAFT (DJ MOORE)

Every year I point out the sheep moves that you will see on draft day. One of those sheep moves will be DJ Moore going in the 3rd Round, latest 4th Round of all Fantasy Football Drafts. Okay maybe he slips to the 5th if people wise up.

Why in the world is DJ Moore being drafted so early? He has never shown to be WR1 in Fantasy Football as he was born into a very inconsistent Panthers passing offense. From Cam Newton, to Kyle Allen, to Teddy Bridgewater.. Things just got worst for the Panthers passing offense.

Teddy Bridgewater did not do a good job for the Saints. Those who just study box scores shows he was alright, padded by a nice home matchup against the Bucs Secondary last season. All Bridgewater could do was throw the ball quickly to Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara. Even wrote a whole article on Bridgwater this season and why he is a BUST.

WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE

Back to Moore. How could things get worst for DJ? The Panthers brought in Robby Anderson. Robby is a great vertical WR who will be more or less pulling the defense. You can guarantee that defenses will double dog dare Bridgewater to throw deep, leaving a bunch of one on one opportunities. Do not forget Curtis Samuel is still on the squad, there were many times where Samuel looked like the better WR between the two. The stat sheet would back that up as well. Of course you cannot forget about the #1 option in the Panthers passing game, Chrisitan McCaffery.

The Panthers offense is stacked with talent all in the same range at WR. A new QB means he has no favorite weapon as of yet. Moore may have been the targets leader last year for this team (only by 30), after McCaffery of course. Still, Samuel or Robby Anderson can take that title of best supporting actor any week of the season zero questions asked.

Despite all this above. I have been in BEST BALL leagues where I see DJ Moore go ahead of Patrick Mahomes in Round 3. It was a 10 man league. Regardless, in what dimension does DJ Moore get drafted ahead of Patrick Mahomes I have no idea? Three of the CBS Fantasy Football Experts Rank DJ Moore in their Top 5 at WR.
