WEEK 17
JETS @ BILLS
The Jets season has been a disaster. They lost their defensive QB in CJ Mosley after Week 1 of the season, and they lost their real QB in Sam Darnold at the same time. Darnold recovered from Mono after the first month of the season, but when you play in a division with the Patriots you cannot throw the white towel over 4 games and not go out and get a real QB. The entire offense suffered this year, and their defense was not good enough to win games on its own. Lev was a BUST but that was due to the situation around him, not only did the Jets lose those two guys, their offensive line was beatup all season long.
Last game of the year, nothing to play for, tough matchup, on the road. We could see scrubs come into play.
Josh Allen got this team to the playoffs, something that definitely should be in consideration for Most Improved Player. Last year Allen was lucky to get in the other teams redzone most weeks. While Allen did not have the best fantasy season, it is in an effective way to win in real life style of play. Run for short yards, throw for short yards, and let you defense do the work. Against the Jets scrubs, expect Allen to play a good game as the Bills get ready for the playoffs. He could test out Smoky Brown and see if they can get that connection going. Other than that, a lot of Beasley and a lot of Singletary. Bills are playing for seeding, so starters will stay in deep.

FALCONS @ BUCS
Matt Ryan will throw the ball around the horn in the season finale and as long as Julio Jones is out there, Julio will get targets. The Falcons season went in the wrong direction quick when injuries started to pile up on defense. The offense was trying to hold it together, then injuries started to pile up on offense with both Ridley + Hooper + Freeman getting injured and missing time. Falcons are limping to the finish line, but they will put it all out on the line in their last game of the season.
Jameis Winston improved sort of this season, his fantasy numbers looked great but anytime you throw for 24 INTs, a Tim Couch gets his wings. Falcons secondary is beatable, but the WR core is down to shambles for Jameis. Perriman will get his targets, maybe one of the TEs actually puts up a Top 10 Performance, the matchup is right. But what you can depend on, the Bucs seeing Ronald Jones close out the season strong. Bucs are playing to win, without the big time WRs the playstyle is different.

SAINTS @ PANTHERS
READ ALL ABOUT THE SAINTS. 2019 BEAST DOME DRAFT STRATEGY.
Super Bowl is looking very potential this season for the Saints. Especially signing DJ Swearinger and Janoris Jenkins. Right now problem for this Saints D is their LB core is all banged up. Drew Brees on offense should cap off his MVP season that nobody is talking about because he has been injured for a majority of the season. Brees stats averaged out to a Full 16 games heading into this Week is over 4800 Yards and 42 TDs! That would put him 2nd in yards and 1st in Passing TDs! With a large margin in both categories. Brees will get the Saints the W prove to the world outdoors does not bother him, and the Saints will look to get that 1 Seed.
CMC will go out with a boom this year. Touches on Touches on Touches on Touches. No way Grier gets anything open down field, just a ton a ton a ton of checkdowns. More checkdowns than you can count. Panthers season never really had a chance this year. On defense, their secondary was not good enough to compete in the tough NFC South which is built on WRs. (Evans/Godwin/Thomas/Julio/Ridley + More). Cam Newton got a ton of hype as always, and Kyle Allen ended up being a way more accurate passer. Cam sells tickets and is fun to watch, but he cannot hit WRs down field consistently. Panthers will not win this game, but look for Greg Olsen to also get in the mix as this could be his last? We will see.

BROWNS @ BENGALS
Baker had a really bad year to say the least. Was it his fault? Not really. The O-Line made him rush his throws, and the gameplans never really setup nicely for deep Odell bombs, and there was not enough of them. The Browns played the season way too safe and did not try to be an arena Football team, instead they relied on the ground with Chubb. While Chubb was great, the Browns fell to his pace and tempo, really never getting in any rhythm, just running the ball, picking up a few yards, let the playclock roll out, run it again, 3rd down, playclock roll out, incomplete pass. Against the Bengals with no pressure and just wanting to have fun because this is the last time Baker will have Odell, this is the week for them to go wild. Whatever Odell does not get, Landry will get his as well. The reason this team is not in the playoffs, injuries to their Defense. They lost Kirksey pretty much instantly, and then the rest of the team started dropping like flies in the secondary, and then Garrett was suspended for the year throwing in the towel.
The Bengals still playing for some pride and beating a division rival at home. What went wrong for the Bengals? New system took too long to learn and no AJ Green had this team looking like nothing good of this season would come anyways. Once they benched Andy Dalton way too soon, their season was officially over. They tanked for the #1 pick, now Dalton plays maybe his last game as a Bengal at home. Browns Secondary has been a joke, Boyd is playing inspired football and Joe Mixon is a MACHINE. Bengals will move the ball in what can be a friendly fire exhibition do not let anyone get hurt.

PACKERS @ LIONS
Aaron Rodgers playing for the #1 Seed against a Lions team that threw in the towel months ago. Rodgers and the Packers are in a position to be in the Super Bowl, but their defense is still more vulnerable than anyone would care to admit. Anyone who allows Trubisky to throw for over 300 Yards is a High School Level D in my books. With that being said, Packers will be able to do what they want against the Lions and even though Slay is guarding Davante Adams, Davante knows where the ball is going, he has the edge.
If there was a season to bring back the paper bags for Lions fans, this was that season. The Lions offense showed a glimpse of explosion in the middle of the season, but once Kerryon went down and then Stafford went down, the white towel was thrown. This Sunday trying to save face, do not expect that to be the case. Blough will not get this offense rolling.

CHARGERS @ CHIEFS
Chargers were destined for the Playoffs, however they fell way short of all expectations. Weird start with Melvin Gordon contract, then injuries to their secondary de-railed their path. Chargers looking to play spoilers on the road in what can be Philip Rivers last start ever? Chiefs D is playing top of the line right now I do not expect Chargers to show up, if anything a Pick 6 is in the cards.
The Chiefs are destined to be the potential AFC Champions. We will see how the playoff seeding plays out. Look for Mahomes to continue his MVP ways and spread out the ball to all options. Damien Williams appears to be the lead RB, but do not be surprised to see Andy Reid break your heart. We can see Sammy Watkins get a good amount of targets with Casey Heyward on Tyreek Hill. Kelce always gets his.

BEARS @ VIKINGS
Trubisky playing against a Vikings secondary that has enough talent to shut them down. Allen Robinson has been a target hog, but the run game is really not expected to do much against a Vikings Run D that shutdown Aaron Jones in the 1st Half and has been strong pretty much all year. The Bears biggest failure this season is a couple of factors. When Akeem Hicks went down, the Run D went down. Trubisky has not been the real deal, but with the Vikings resting their starters, his opportunity to put up some points is there. Still on the road with the fans against him will get Mitch’s head, and that is their second factor, Road Trubisky is not NFL QB Worthy. Home Trubisky is not even passable.
Kirk Cousins has not let the ball loose in a while. Heading into the Playoffs, the Vikings are resting their starters. However this move will likely come back to bite them because with Kirk not being vintage Kirk, this offense is not as scary as they could be, and any team can beat them. Not a good move for the Vikings, backups will get the calls, but the Bears will dominate.

DOLPHINS @ PATRIOTS
Patriots need to win against the Dolphins in order to keep the #2 Seed. In New England, expect Tom Brady to make that happen. Sony Michel is not 100% this week under the weather, look for a RBBC trio including Rex Burkhead. Also look for the Patriots Defense to be lock down against Fitzmagic who will have trouble getting Davante Parker with Stephon Gilmore all over him. Edelman will be wide open, and Brady should be able to find a couple other of his cabbage patch WRs.
The Dolphins season never had a chance once again. Kenyan Drake could have been special had the Dolphins stopped messing around and just gave him all the touches. He is gone and now Magic is turning this Dolphin season into a somewhat magical finale. Dolphins were primed to go 0-16, now they have 4 Wins and no longer are even thinking about a Top 3 Pick in the NFL Draft.

STEELERS @ RAVENS
The Steelers offense still has no shot to do anything against the Ravens despite the Ravens sitting all of their players. The Steelers season was over as soon as Big Ben was done. Once the injury bug continued to Conner and JuJu, the season was long gone. However despite all of that, this team still has a chance for the playoffs. Their Defense has been outstanding, in Baltimore though, Steelers offense is not good enough for the Ravens Defense. Only the starters are sitting.
RG3! Gets another version of life that the BEAST DOME NATION loves to see. This decade has featured some epic MVP performances! From being the Highest Ranked Expert on Peyton Manning’s Record setting Season, to many more you will see in the all Decade article. However there is one hiccup, the RG3 Season. It was salvaged by Joe Flacco, Ex-Raven, and Fitzmagic BEAST DOME Legend, but all eyes on RG3 to see if he can beat the Steelers Defense. Chances are he cannot, Steelers D is amazing. Gus Edwards will get the call, but expect Justice Hill to get his as well.

EAGLES @ GIANTS
Carson Wentz takes his one man show on the road against a Giants team that is playing very well. Miles Sanders has become a ball hawk machine and he should be plenty busy especially with Ertz banged up. Keep in mind Howard is back, so that can limit the upside no doubt. With Ertz banged up Dallas G. will get his targets all game. Wentz is doing the best he can, lucky for him this matchup does play well in his favor as the Eagles try to wrap up the NFC East with a win. Why was this season not the season they expected? Injuries. Their secondary was in shambles at one point this season, their WR core is currently at XFL talent.
Daniel Jones is hitting everyone under the sun, and Saquon is running hot. Eagles D has a challenge ahead to keep the Giants from playing spoiler. Why are the Giants not in the playoffs this year? Slow start not going Daniel Jones earlier, then Saquon injury, then more injuries, then collapse. However this team is healthy enough, no Engram, and Daniel Jones will look to put on a great performance at home to close the year.

REDSKINS @ COWBOYS
Case Keenum possibly playing his last game as a starting QB the rest of his career. Maybe ever as his contract expires. Look for him to be inspired especially against a team he probably grew up loving as he lived in Texas. Sims and Harmon are his guys, and AP will look to continue his record setting ways. Another BEAST DOME Legend you will read about in the All-Decade article.
The Cowboys are locked and loaded knowing they have a chance to steal a playoff spot. Dak needs to be on fire to save his possible contract, it was smart of the Cowboys to not sign him instantly after his hot start. This is a matchup that would have been tough, but both Landon Collins and Josh Norman are out. Look for the Cowboys to throw the ball all over the field, and look for Zeke to have a ton of running lanes.

TITANS @ TEXANS
Ryan Tannehill is a candidate for Most Improved player and comeback player of the year. To lead the Titans into the Playoffs after a slow start would be historic. Beating the Texans in Houston will not be easy, but this Texans Secondary has had problems all year. AJ Brown and Corey Davis are playing motivated, and Derrick Henry is ready to run the Titans into the 1st Round against a Texans Front 7 that is starting to hit softer and softer.
The Texans need to win to hold a home game for the 1st Round against the Bills. A huge advantage for the Texans if they can be at home rather than in cold Buffalo. I am sure the Bills would not mind that either. Hopkins is banged up, Watson will have to make it work with Stills and Keke if that is the case as Fuller is out. Hyde can only do so much if the passing game is not scaring away the box.

COLTS @ JAGUARS
Colts could have been a playoff team had Ty Hilton and Marlon Mack went down with injuries. The play calling got really soft and they decided they can only run the ball putting way too much pressure on that defense, which that defense could not handle and they suffered injuries. Road finale Colts will still look to finish the season strong. Hilton is healthy and so is Marlon Mack. Both of those guys can get on a roll setting up the offense all game long. A lot of role players featuring Doyle will likely step up as well.
Minshew Mania one last time? It is possible, the Colts Defense has been solid at slowing down the run. The Jaguars WR core is getting a bit crowded with Keelan Cole making plays. Look for a rotation of WRs to play throughout, making this a Minshew or nothing type of game. No Fournette, which means Armstead will get a start. He has some game, but the Colts D is too much for the Rookie to depend on with all the RBs in the field. Minshew mania at home to close out the year is what the crowd wants.
What went wrong with the Jaguars? Injuries to their Defense did not help, then trading away Ramsey left their Defense very beatable. Minshew is good, but he is also not a playoff QB who puts up consistent great games.

RAIDERS @ BRONCOS
Raiders have a chance to sneak into the playoffs. It was a great year for Gruden getting this team even able to compete after being embarassed on Hard Knocks. Carr has not been great, Waller and Jacobs were really the stars. Look for Waller to get the most targets in this one as long as Chris Harris Jr. stays on Tyrell Williams which will likely be the case. However CHJ will be on Waller at times. Richard and DeAndre Washington will be getting a lot of touches as well. Washington is out to prove he is a starting RB especially after a strong preseason.
Why are the Raiders not a playoff team most likely this season? They went into the year with no secondary, they leave the year with no secondary. You need a secondary to win.
Look for Courtland Sutton to take advantage of that Raiders secondary instantly. Drew Lock is LOCKED and Loaded on his weapons. Hamilton + Patrick will be targets but Courtland Sutton will be a heavy feature as well as Fant. Broncos want nothing more to be the team that officially knocks the Raiders out of the Playoffs. The NFL built the timing of today’s schedule around the fact of how the Raiders could sneak into the playoffs. Lindsay and Freeman are both candidates to run wild as well.
Why the Broncos did not make the playoffs? Joe Flacco was not the QB they needed him to be, and even though their defense was good enough without Chubb, their offense was never able to carry them.

CARDINALS @ RAMS
Kyler Murray will look to finish off his rookie campaign and bid for rookie of the year against the Rams in LA. Rams offense is not looking solid these days and the Cardinals are playing like some angry birds who are out to go out with a bang. Fitzgerald playing maybe his last game? Should get a lot of targets. Kirk will likely be guarded by Ramsey, though he can rotate. Drake has been a MVP but it is hard to imagine David Johnson just not having at least one bang to hammer it out. Then again, not guaranteed.
Why the Cardinals did not make the playoffs? Slow start adjusting to Kingsbury offense, combined with no Patrick Peterson to start the year made this team too easy to beat. Starting to gain momentum, but it is way too late. Until next year.
Jared Goff has one last home game to finish his season strong. Cardinals playing angry and hungry, Goff not playing for anything but pride. Cardinals will look to spoil that. Goff has a ton of weapons these days, should be able to find a lot of them as the Cardinals do not have that many corners. From Kupp to Woods/Cooks/Highbee/Evertt, and of course Todd Gurley. The Rams can definitely compete, and look for them to give it their all in their home finale of what was a disappointing season.
Why the Rams did not make the playoffs?
Bad playcalling from McVay this year. Took the Rams way too long to run the ball heavy with Gurley. Goff was not good enough consistently and no Donkey Kong Suh in the middle to smash up the running game.

49ERS @ SEAHAWKS
The winner of this game gets the NFC West crown. Jimmy G. will look to attack the Seahawks secondary that is definitely beatable. Kittle/Sanders/Samuel all have to come up and make big plays. Running the ball will be more of a RBBC than Raheem the Dream caring the load. Plus running on Bobby Wagner’s crew is always a challenge. Jimmy G. will be the leader of this offense on Sunday.
Russell Wilson really struggled last week against the Cardinals. To the point where he can no longer be considered for MVP. Wilson will need a MVP type of performance however to keep his Seahawks in this game. Lockett will be targeted the most as Sherman will not touch a slot WR. Will be great to see Marshawn Lynch, another all Decade Player get another crack at it. He has dominated SF in his career, a BEAST MODE TD on Primetime TV sounds like a script written by the gods.
