Week 13 is a special Week in the Fantasy Football Season. Before the season started, I always imagined it would be the Week I was in the DraftKings Championship for King Of the Beach. A championship I have Qualified for 2 Years Straight! No, this season that dream did not come true after finishing in the Top 5 of a Qualifier 5 Different times. Regardless, I still prevail and I know it was not meant to be as I have far greater things ahead of me. One of those things that is ahead of me is predicting this game to the best that I can.
The Saints at home in their dome, unbeatable. Drew Brees will make any defense look silly, and the Cowboys secondary is not ready for this task. If you think stopping Michael Thomas is going to stop the Saints passing game, you could not be more wrong. The last two weeks, Thomas has not even been the leading WR for the Saints and yet Brees continues to put up Top 3 QB numbers with with ease. To make matters worst for the Cowboys, they have nobody who can guard Michael Thomas to begin with.
So with nobody to stop Micheal Thomas, and Sean Lee still not healthy. There is zero chance the Cowboys have a chance of slowing down the Saints. ZERO.
When the Cowboys have the ball, they have one goal. That one goal is to keep the Saints offense off the field no matter what it takes. The most logical way of making that happen is by running the ball with Zeke as much as possible. While it is possible Zeke does have a BEAST game and controls the T.O.P., the Cowboys still have to score a lot of points becaues the Saints will be scoring at the snap of a finger. It will not take long for the Cowboys to be in comeback mode and the clock will not be their friend.
There is potential for Amari Cooper to make plays, but Dak will have to get everyone involved as there is always someone open against this leaky Saints secondary. Dak is playing some of the best football he has played all year this past month, and this matchup is a crucial one to prove that Dak is on his way to being the Franchise QB for the Cowboys that can take them to the playoffs year after year.
The task will not be easy, and in fact, Dak will not be able to keep up with the pace of Brees. The Saints offense scores unlimited points at home.
