It took some time, but Jokic was finally putting up the triple double numbers we remember so well from last season. Plumlee was out, Millsap was Out, the Nuggets were running really small ball esentially running their offense through Jokic. Finally from the grave, Paul Millsap returns and he made his presence felt instantly.
9 Points. 7 Rebounds in less than 25 minutes. When you add to the fact Plumlee returned 3 games ago and he is getting back into shape, Plum ended up with 10 Points and 7 Rebounds. The nightmare is real for Jokic. The Nuggets are deep at PF/C and while Jokic is one of the best Fantasy Centers in the game today, he will be hurt by these two players making an impact. In Jokic’s first game with both Millsap and Plumlee back, Jokic did drop 18 Points, but only 6 Rebounds. Most important of all, only 28 Minutes of action.
Back when Millsap and Plumlee were healthy in November, Jokic did have some nice games, but he also had some duds mixed in. With both of these players healthy and Denver making a strong Playoff Push, Jokic is better off being traded for a serious stud. Try to find a way to get package Jokic and another player for a superstar Center. Finding a way to get KAT would be the most ideal, but that second piece will have to be strong after his BEAST performance against Portland. With no more Jimmy Butler around, the package should be worth it.
