Fantasy Football: Brandon Bolden (Beast or Bust)
Fantasy Football:
Brandon Bolden (Beast or Bust)

Each week I take a look at a breakout Free Agent player to determine if they are going to be a Beast or Bust heading down the stretch of the season. You can read what I said about:
Kevin Ogletree Week 1 by clicking here.
Andre Brown Week 2 by clicking here.
Ramses Barden Week 3 by clicking here.
Tonight we analyze a special player. Someone who I ranked higher than any expert in my preseason rankings.
BRANDON BOLDEN – RB – NE
When I saw Brandon Bolden this preseason, I saw the next Benjarvus Green-Ellis. A younger more athletic version that has the chance of cracking the rotation, but more likely would be behind Ridley and Woodhead. Vereen was a threat, but his injury really pushed him towards the back. Because of that, I ranked Bolden #47 overall at the RB spot, when his Expert Consensus Ranking was #75.
After picking up a Vulture TD last week for Stevan Ridley. This week Bolden looked like a BEAST that could not be stopped against a Bills defense that was overwhelmed. Bolden rushed for 137 Yards and a TD on 16 carries. Ridley rushed 22 times for 106 Yards and 2 TDs. Bolden was the only one to have a reception between the two.
Moving forward, Bolden has earned more carries. He could see up to 10 a game, but it did not help that Woodhead ended up getting a 23 Yard TD through the air which should keep him in at the 3rd down role. Ridley is definitely the one to own moving forward, but if something were to have Stevan…
PREDICTION: BEAST. What makes Bolden so special is how talented he is. When players are as talented as this, they find their ways onto the field. While he may be semi-inconsistent with Ridley on the field, but if Ridley makes any errors or goes down. Bolden becomes MUST-START. It is possible Bolden does become the goal line back despite Ridley scoring two goal line TDs. Either way, find a roster spot for Bolden if you can.

So the trade i received was for my Steven Jackson and Pierre Garcon in exchange for Brandon Marshall and Ben Tate. I think its a good trade for me . i get a huge upgrade for WR but lose a startable RB but do get my insurance for my Arian Foster. thoughts? Thank you in advance!
I have no beast mode, but you would be nuts not to take that trade. I would take Mcgahee over sjax anyway.
Do it.
I need a wide receiver: Fred Jackson for one of these guys > B. Marshall, D. Thomas, or T. Smith ( in this order)? I say F. Jackson, because the owner has C.J. Spiller. I’ve noticed, in your rankings your not too high on Fred Jackson. Guess Spiller down grades his value to much? Other backs I have are Foster, S. Jackson, BJGE, D. Brown, A. Brown, and Powell, Tate, and Leshoure Thanks for the assist.
good ide to throw alot of my free agent $$ at hartline? i could use him as a 4th WR. 12 team league and the wire is pretty beat
